Hello! My name is Anne Berry, I am an illustrator living and working in Portland, Oregon with my husband and two very spoiled cats. I studied Design at Orange Coast College before starting work at a small, boutique greeting card studio, Bjorkman Bros, which distributed through Hallmark, American Greeting, Recycled, among others.

In 2015 I attended my first SCBWI Conference in Los Angeles, where I was thrilled to find out my portfolio had won the SCBWI Mentorship Program Award and the Portfolio Honor Award. I have since had the opportunity to illustrate several children’s books and would love to delve into the world of chapter books! I also continue to do art for surface design, greeting cards and personal commissions.

I am drawn to any story that is empathetic, whimsical, historical, and maybe a little bit scary - and perhaps involves mermaids, if possible!
